What's Involved

  • Safely raise and support front of vehicle
  • Remove wheel
  • Remove slide pin bolts
  • Remove brake caliper
  • Remove brake caliper bracket bolts
  • Inspect pads, rotors, lines for damage or wear, replace as necessary
  • Clean parts thoroughly
  • Compress brake caliper piston
  • Reinstall brake caliper bracket
  • Install new brake pads
  • Reinstall brake caliper
  • Reinstall wheel
  • Lower vehicle and torque lug nuts to spec
  • Test drive and bed in new brake pads

  • Take your time and follow all safety procedures including the correct use of jack stands, safety goggles, gloves, and ventilation
  • Ensure you get the right parts for your specific vehicle
